- learn how to learn, so they have the ability to acquire new knowledge anytime and anywhere all on their own

- be strong enough to stand up to me or anyone else that gets in the way of their potential

great list!! It is hard to teach kids all that we want them to learn isn't it?? We are all doing oure best and I guess that's all we can do. Let me know if you figure out how to accomplish all these things though, I would love to know.
